Here is how your Pure Water Reach and Wash System
works. Your operator is using the very latest in technology.
Within the vehicle there is housed an 800 Litre water
tank, which the water within is purified though five
different stages. Firstly the water is transferred
through a Reverse Osmosis procedure, which takes out
most of the mineral content and cleans the water to
a state of less than 5 parts per million. Then the
water is pushed through a Carbon Filter which cleans
the water to a further state, of less than 1.00 parts
per million. Finally the clean water is pumped through
Resin that actually POLISHES the water and produces
100% PURE WATER that is to say, less than 0.10 parts
per million but in most cases 0.00. Which is Constantly
Monitored by the Operator using an In-Line TDS (total
dissolved solids) Meter.
The Pure Water is then pumped up a water fed pole
to a height of up to 65 foot. The brush at the end
is an Industrial head, which agitates the dirt on
the window and with the Pure Water ( which constantly
wants to return to it’s natural state ) Lifts
the dirt off any window and frame. The window is then
rinsed using the same Pure Water.
With this method the windows stay cleaner for longer,
because there is no use of any detergent, the rain
will not stick to the pane, therefore no mineral spots
will appear. Operators cannot only work in any type
of weather due to this, but can reach windows that
were inaccessible before i.e. above roofs, flowerbeds
and conservatories.
The National Window Cleaning Federation has been instructed
by the Health and Safety from the EU to use this practice,
and have now implemented a full non-fixed ladder ban.
